Ahhh, basketball season! Definitely the favorite sport and favorite season in our house so far! Added bonus is that it is indoors! The girls love the game and are improving a lot! They played on an Upward team and also a co-ed intramural team at St. Luke.

| Charlotte is described as "gentle" in her classroom - but she is FIERCE on the basketball court!! She's as tough as any boy out there, and fast too! She has really worked on her dribbling this season, and while she is not as tall as some, she will usually come down with the rebound if she's anywhere near it!! She is definitely ALL Hargrove and very fun to watch!! We might have gotten more than one comment from other parents, and even a referee, about her hustle and grit. The girl is definitely a baller!! We noticed that Camille was not as aggressive when playing with the boys, for some reason. But super aggressive on her all-girl Upward team, and she plays very good defense and had to guard the toughest and roughest player in the league all season because she was the only one who could cover her! This kept her from scoring that much, but she was definitely a valuable player on the team!! |
