We drove through the night Wednesday night so we could get there bright and early on a Thursday morning...I'm still really not sure how Travis managed it, and he didn't even take a nap once we got there! But the girls slept almost the entire way so I think we made a good decision about the nighttime driving.

Hayden won some "incredible" prizes from Incredible Pizza, including the infamous "bun bomb" (also known as a "whoopie cushion"). He had quite a bit of fun inflating this thing and having anyone and everyone sit on it!
Hayden's second prize was this set of vampire teeth, which he wore so much that he developed sores on the sides of his lips!

Friday, we (of course) had to make a trip to Pancho's (Trav's favorite restaurant of all time) and then the Conroe city water park...

Saturday, we went to see Paps & LeLe's boat at South Shore Harbour and then rode some rides and saw the sights at Kemah's Boardwalk.

We took a break to eat some pizza and wait out a thunderstorm...the people in the restaurant actually started cheering when it started raining! Those folks had been a LONG time without seeing any rain, apparently! Unfortunately for them (but fortunately for us!) it didn't really rain very long!
