We are going to keep working with them on the swimming, especially now that they are used to it. I'm not gonna lie, there were many many tears throughout this process! However, the last two days of lessons Camille didn't cry at all and actually cheered and clapped for the other kids in the class. There were initially 5 kids in this particular class, all about six months older than the girls, except for one boy who was probably about 4. I think we ran him and his mom off with all our tears, as I saw him participating in an earlier lesson the last two days with older kids. Oh well! Charlotte will happily swim for us, but continued her "angry cry" during the lessons. She cried, but she did what the instructor asked her to do! She would even slap a high five to the teacher through her tears.

Sounds like they did so well at swim lessons! Camille's hair has darkened even more..so they are really looking more alike!

ReplyDeleteTrisha, tears or not, your girls are WAY WAY WAY beyond one Mr. James :) We are now just holding on to Mom with one arm instead of clinging after 5 weeks of swim classes. And with the cds, there are days my friend, days and days when it is just Mr. Dave the music teacher's cd and She'll Be Comin' Round the Mountain just replays in my head :)
