Grandparent's "Boot" Camp



The girls went to Texas to stay with Paps and LeLe for a week before school started back up!  I think they had a great time, and Paps and LeLe definitely kept them busy!  I was calling it "grandparent's camp"...but Paps was calling it "grandparent's BOOT camp"!  They did learn some new rules, like keeping their drinks at "12:00" to avoid spills :)  They did some bike riding, and learned to use the scooter, went to the water park, the Houston Zoo, Incredible Pizza, got their first manicures/pedicures at Sweet and Sassy, went to the movies to see "Planes", went shopping, and hung out with cousins, just to name some of the things they were up to last week!!

Met another set of twin girls at Chick-fil-a!  Paps said that they instantly "paired up" based on what kind of "cow watch" they had in their kids meal!

Having breakfast one morning...I hear they quite enjoyed Coca Puffs cereal!

Getting ready to go out to Incredible pizza to meet cousins and play!  I laughed SO hard when they sent me this picture!  They are looking so cute, their hair is all done up nice...but Camille is wearing her PAJAMAS!  hahaha!!  Apparently she had told LeLe the day before that they were pajamas, but then insisted on wearing them the next day.  (And no one really seems to believe me that they are actually pajamas!  And I don't think any one else noticed!)

The best part, despite Charlotte's expression here, was walking the runway to really loud music!  I wish videos would download better on here, because there's a really funny one of the three of them on the runway!

Last night at grandparent's camp



Burger King stop on the way to Louisiana to meet back up with us!

 We met up with Paps, LeLe, and the girls in Slidell, Louisiana, which is about halfway between our house and Houston.  The girls were excited to see us and tell us everything that they had been up to!  Travis's Aunt Bonnie lives in Slidell, so we stayed with her for the night before heading home.  As luck would have it, Aunt Bonnie was going to a Cajun dance that night and talked us all into coming with her!  I was surprised by how much the girls wanted to get out on the floor and Two Step :)
